Your conversation.
Your choice.
AskForMe is operated by Concept AI. Our pilot helps you describe a local service request and test the response-and-choice process with one designated test business. The wider business directory is not enabled for calls.
At the start of your call
We greet you and let you explain what you need, or check whether a business is interested in the enquiry. We then ask permission to save a written transcript for service matching. Interest alone is not transcript consent. Just say yes or no. Twilio connects your call and carries its audio to OpenAI. GPT Realtime handles the greeting, your spoken consent answer and the rest of the conversation. AskForMe does not save the pre-consent conversation or audio. Without a clear yes, we do not save a service conversation. You can ask for privacy details before deciding.
What we collect
After consent, we save the written conversation, call reference, time, call outcome and consent evidence. This may include your suburb, service needs, timing and any contact details you choose to provide. When you authorise a service enquiry, we also use your original caller number for the callback and keep the approved brief, business responses, your choice and any confirmation. Please do not share passwords, payment information, health information or other sensitive details.
AskForMe does not make or store an audio recording. Your live audio is transmitted and processed to conduct the conversation. This is different from a promise that every provider retains no data.
Who processes the conversation
Twilio provides the phone connection, OpenAI provides the AI conversation and transcription, and Google Firebase stores transcripts in our Sydney database. Cloudflare carries the pilot connection to our local voice server. Providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States; the pilot does not guarantee Australia-only processing. Their service, security and retention requirements apply separately.

How we use and protect it
We use the transcript to understand your request and help match services, with review by the authorised AskForMe administrator. Access to the portal is restricted to that administrator’s verified Google account. We do not sell transcripts or use them for marketing or to train an AskForMe AI model.
Before business calls, we ask your permission to share the necessary job details and call you back. Each business participant is asked separately for consent to transcription. Your consent does not cover them. SMS updates require separate permission and an enabled sender. A private comparison link allows whoever holds it to view your enquiry and make a choice, so keep it private; the link expires after seven days. After a match, you can get the business’s number and contact them yourself, or explicitly authorise us to share your original caller number with that business and ask them to call you. That handoff is not a booking. AskForMe only pursues further questions or booking confirmation when you ask.
Retention and withdrawal
Consented conversations and enquiry contents are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Automatic deletion is not instantaneous and may take additional processing time. If the database is temporarily unavailable, an access-restricted local queue keeps the transcript until it can be saved. Provider logs and legally required retention are separate.
During a call, tell the AI to stop transcribing or delete this conversation to withdraw consent, stop the connection and request removal of the saved transcript. Pressing 9 also works. Removal is queued if the database is temporarily unavailable. A minimal consent-withdrawal and call-status record may remain until the 30-day expiry.
If you ask us not to call again, we keep a minimal number-based do-not-call record separately from transcripts so that deleting a conversation does not restart calls. This restriction remains until a verified change is authorised.
Access, correction, deletion and questions
Email anthony@conceptai.dev to ask for access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. Include the approximate date and time of your call so we can locate it; we may need to verify your identity. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about a privacy complaint.
